http://bent-con.org/The gay version of San Diego Comic Con, though much smaller since it's only a couple of years old.
So I'll be attending at least Saturday and Sunday with my press hat on to see what will be picture-worthy for Blade California and my pending online album of press pics.

Okay, just got back from the event and I have to say that I enjoyed myself far than I had anticipated. It was the right combination for me to be intellectually and emotionally invested for the projects that got my interest, either as a press person or for my own interests. This doesn't mean that I was interested in EVERYTHING, but that's not the point of such events. Diversity is the key is such events and it serves the attendees well.
Definitely going next year. May even pitch a panel idea for next year. But I've got plenty of time to think about that...
Back to this year's event, I will be posting various projects I think are worth promoting through out the rest of this month.
