License News: "The Rose of Versailles" Acquired

So it was announced today that Right Stuf will be releasing this series both in streaming form and in DVD collection: Site Info

If you didn't know, "Rose" is considered one of the classic shojo series of the '70's where the female protagonist "Oscar" dresses as a man in the French court.

I've known about this series since I first got hooked into anime over 10 years ago but it never really got my attention enough to put time aside to check it out, partially because I never really heard true lesbian story-lines out of it. But again, I have found things where others tend to overlook them.

At this point, I am happy to wait and support its release.
