Summary: This is the docu-style movie based on the true crime of the town’s nicest man shooting the town’s meanest woman in what could only be called a bizarre portrayal of justice.
Review: Since I’m a true crime analysis junkie, I was familiar with this case before Nico recommended the movie. I honestly liked it, as a wry commentary on Southern culture and American Southern justice. I thought Jack Black and Shirley MacLaine did excellent jobs.
And was Bernie gay? Funny, the film asks that same question. I assure you, watching it with gay glasses makes for richer viewing.
